What is best for fertilizing hibiscus plants planted outdoors? Also, when is best time for fertilizing and moving peonies Thank you. We live in Grottoes, Va., near Andre's place. John McCoy

We recommend Espoma Plant-tone for both peonies and Hibiscus. Just broadcast it in the spring and again fall at the rate recommended on the bag. It is best to wait until the peonies begin to die back before you dig, divide, and move them. Late September through October is a good time to do this.
