The road to hell is paved.......I had such good intentions in September and October. Alas...the giant bags of tulips and daffs are still sitting on the back porch unplanted. Unheated porch and it was 20 in there last night. Is there any way to salvage them for spring bloom this year? Keep in fridge? Leave in cold outbuilding until ground thaws? Thanks for any info.

If they still feel firm, bring them into a cool, dark location for storage until the ground thaws enough that you can plant them; a basement or garage is perfect. You should protect them from freezing from now on. Plant them as soon as you can. We have planted bulbs as late as March and still gotten a spring (well early summer!) bloom.
