Neem oil for squash borers?

Post by LEE IN VA. » Sun Jun 01, 2014 8:56 am

My local garden store recommended neem oil to prevent squash vine borers. I've never heard of it being used, any chance of it working? It's also organic, so if it works that's a plus.

Bonide Bon-Neem II Concentrate is listed for control of squash vine borers. This contains neem oil and Pyrethrins. Use only according to the label directions. Follow the recommendations for timing of the applications.
