It could be either beetles, caterpillars, or slugs all of which commonly attack basil and other vegetable plants and eat the leaves. If it is slugs or snails, you might see silvery slime trails on the foliage. Bonide Captain Jacks Deadbug Brew is approved for organic gardening and can be used according to the label directions to control many insects including beetles and caterpillars on edible plants. Bonide Slug Magic can be used around edibles according to the label directions to control slugs if they appear to be the culprits.

When a garden pest is chowing down on your pretty basil leaves, it is most likely to be Japanese beetles, slugs, aphids or leafhoppers. Each one leaves "evidence" to help you identify the culprit. Among those bugs easily knocked off basil plants are whiteflies, spider mites and aphids. If serious infestations have caused some foliage to curl up or turn brown, clip these away before spraying the basil. To decrease the risk of fungal disease from wet leaves, hose off basil during late morning on a sunny day. by https://buyfollowerscanada.com/
